The menu

Pick your chair

Times are typical, not a promise — if your hair needs longer, we say so before we start. Current pricing shows when you book.

3–4 hours

Starter locs

Comb coils or two-strand starts, parted to a grid built around your density and how you like to wear them.

2 hours

Retwist & style

Wash, root work, and a set. Every four to six weeks keeps new growth even without over-tightening.

2.5–3 hours

Interlocking

Tool or finger method. Holds through workouts, swims and humidity when you can't sit every month.

1 hour

Detox & hydration

Deep clean for buildup, then moisture back in. Worth it once or twice a year, or after a long stretch away.

15 minutes

New client consult

Fifteen minutes to look at your hair and talk through a plan. No pressure to book the same day.

Lead loctician

Meet Ruth

Ruth has been locking hair for over a decade. Most of her clients have been in her chair for years — which is the only review of a loctician that really counts.

One client at a time. No double-booking, no rushing your set to get to the next person. If your hair needs longer than the booking says, it gets longer.

"She's been caring for my locs for the past year, and the love and attention she puts into her work shows every single time." LaDonna Hurn · Google review

"My locs had been worked on by different locticians over time. Ruth confidently assured me she would fix them — and she absolutely delivered. When she finished, I fell in love with my locs all over again. I can finally say I've found my forever loctician."
